Saxon Duke
Contemporary Australian Artist

Saxon Duke is a contemporary artist from Sydney, Australia. Born in 1983, his artwork bridges the gap between
graffiti and high-end fine art.
He is best known for combining complex, rhythmic, and primal patterns with vivid colour palettes burying references of past experiences below the surface'. t becomes a bit of a sport and personal challenge avoiding a painting if it's subject matter hard to swallow.
Textured, ultra-fritzed layering, stylised pop culture referenceson the Temus. An occasional accidental spillage.
Its all there.
These days, he's less concerned with a predetermined outcome, Its about being in it. There's no end game.
Artistically obtuse.
Thrown together fast.
Fusssed over for months.
The paintings are intended to stand on their own
not getting hung up on self expectations of oneself.
Interpret them however you like.
If it feels like a fever dream wrapped in a spot of bother, you're probably on the right track.
Graffiti guys gotta ### too.
